The Devices Business Desk team advocates for the business and drives growth by:

  • Developing and negotiating pricing constructs for our largest enterprise customers

  • Maximizing 1st-party revenue and gross margin across globalenterprise deals

  • Coaching on deal-making strategies, special pricing processdeployment and program compliance

  • Proposing and implementingpricing workflow,tool and process improvements

  • Delivering trusted partnership to our Commercial Executives and cross-functionalleaders

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will bring a combination of finance and business acumen, leadership, and influencing skills to drive deal health, velocity and performance in close alignment with business partners. Our team is collaborative, creative and customer-obsessed. We drive compliant pricing execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and solutions for new pricing opportunities.   • Safeguardgross margin and bottom-line profitability for the Surface Business.

  • Develop deep understanding ofproductstrategy, financial goals and compliance principles.

  • Structure global special pricing constructs (rate cards and CE empowerment) to increase deal velocity.

  • Collaborate with Commercial Executives and Sales on custom discounts to grow revenue and share.

  • Serve as a coach to Global Black Belts (GBBs) and Commercial Executiveson effective deal-making strategies.

  • Drive simplification and workflow improvement across special pricing tools and processes.

  • Deliver trusted partnership to Marketing, Sales, Operations, CELA, Compliance and Finance leaders.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of work experience in a finance, marketing, or sales enablement role or deal desk, preferably in the technology industry

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or another related field

  • Robust analytical/problem solving and communications skills

  • Highly detail orientated with affinity for compliance and process excellence

  • Results driven with strong organizational skills including ability to multi-task within tight timelines

  • Able to handle diverse stakeholders with a high degree of ambiguity

  • Able to influence all levels of the organization from senior leaders to individual contributors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior device sales/sales support experience is preferred but not mandatory.
