Danaher Corporation HR Director - Suzhou Site in Suzhou, China

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced HR professional to join our team as the HR Director for our Suzhou Manufacturing and R&D site. As the HR Director, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of human resources at the Suzhou site, ensuring the development and implementation of effective HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies: Design and execute HR strategies and initiatives that support the overall business objectives of the Suzhou site, ensuring alignment with the global HR policies and guidelines.

  • Talent acquisition and talent management: Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent. Develop and implement employee onboarding, training, and development programs to enhance employee performance and engagement.

  • Performance management: Develop and implement performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans. Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting performance reviews and addressing performance-related issues.

  • Employee relations: Establish and maintain positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.

  • Compensation and benefits: Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to design and administer competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.

  • HR data management and reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data, generate HR reports, and provide analysis and insights to drive informed decision-making.

  • Employee engagement and culture: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, promote a positive company culture, and foster a diverse and inclusive work environment.

  • HR policies and compliance: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with local labor laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices.

Requirement:

  • Seasoned HR leader with a minimum of 10 years of HR management and HR development experience

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university. Master’s degree is highly desirable

  • Proven track record in change management in manufacturing site, be able to work under agile organization.

  • Excellent judgment and creative problem solver.

  • A good balance of “strategic” and “hands-on” to deliver result as well as possess good business acumen.

  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills. The candidate sought must be highly energetic, creative and flexible.

  • Must possess skills in regard to facilitation, conflict management, counselling/coaching, talent acquisition, compensation, training, problem solving.

  • Must possess excellent persuasion and leadership skills in order to gain consensus regarding organizational strategy and policy that will inevitably involve continuous change and improvement.

  • Ability to effectively interface with corporate management and work well within a highly matrix organization/ management.

  • Strong organizational, analytical and management skills. Possess strong project management skills.

  • Team player who works to build consensus but who knows when to make a decision and move forward.
