In this role you’ll focus on our developer ecosystem, which is central to bringing that vision to life. You’ll partner with teams across engineering like SwiftUI, RealityKit, ARKit, Tools, etc, to drive key efforts to enable external partner experiences. We’re looking for someone who wants to jump into novel and ambiguous problem spaces, and succeeds by seeking out expertise and building consensus. They also need to be skilled at digging into details with engineering teams to facilitate building a plan for software changes to be delivered, and driving the day to day execution and risk mitigation of that plan. You ideally will be a strong collaborator, skilled at making data driven decisions, very detailed, and enthusiastic about the potential of what the developer ecosystem can unlock on Apple Vision Pro. Description

We’re looking for people with a passion for supporting developers and unlocking the potential of visionOS to change the world through the developer ecosystem. In this role you’ll support the Vision Products Group Partnership team in building out and driving the execution of cross-functional software implementation plans to enable partner experiences. This requires deep collaboration with numerous software engineering teams across Apple to: - Facilitate definition of technical capabilities that partner needs in OS/SDK/Tooling to enable desired experience and understand impacts of those requirements - Seek out cross-functional expertise, and build out end to end scheduled engineering & qualification plan - Keep project team focused and in sync on current priorities, as well as distilling project status for larger stakeholder audience - Work with teams to identify issues, develop mitigation options, and escalate to leadership effectively - Drive project convergence, considering bug prioritization and tradeoffs - See around corners for potentially non-Software blockers for shipping end to end experience and track contingency plans

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience planning and driving execution of projects

  • Excellent spoken and written communication with the ability to tailor to multiple audiences

  • Ability to quickly pick up technical subject matter enough to facilitate engineering discussions of issues/impacts/mitigations, hold teams accountable for commitments, up-level status

  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.

  • Strong collaborator, able to understand others perspectives, look for common ground, and drive consensus

  • Skilled at driving prioritization and helping focus others

  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

  • Makes good and timely decisions to keep teams moving forward

  • Education: 6+ of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Experience shipping Software or developer facing features is a plus

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $282,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
