This is a managerial role in AppleCare’s Service Procurement organization, requiring service supply chain management expertise coupled with team building and development skills.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Service Supply Chain Management, Service Procurement, or Global Reverse Logistics

  • 3-5 years of experience in a managerial capacity

  • Experience in commercial negotiation

  • Experience in Multiple Country of Origin

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • Ability to inspire a team to excellence in customer service

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Analytical with an exceptional attention to detail

Description

AppleCare’s Service Procurement organization is responsible for the strategic sourcing and supply chain management of all service units and spare parts for Apple products. Our global team sources repairable parts and products to Apple’s quality standards at the lowest possible cost. The team deploys service parts to locations around the globe to ensure customers get the best and fastest service experience possible. As AppleCare Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be accountable for selecting the most competitive supply chain network, ensuring ongoing service cost performance, and achieving exceptional delivery results that meet global service requirements. You will be part of a distributed team responsible for future supply chain design that optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance while proactively and strategically addressing potential global or regional supply chain risk.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $159,000.00 and $280,800.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
