Accountant/Accounting Clerk Seneca Foods Corporation in Dayton, WA has an opening for a Full-time Accountant/Accounting Clerk to join our Finance Team. The Accountant/Accounting Clerk will be responsible for finance and accounting functions at the Dayton, WA facility, under the supervision of the Director of Finance. The expected compensation range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending upon skils and experience. Responsibilities: Providing support to the Plant Controller. Providing support and backup to the Purchasing Agent. Processing Payroll. Performing accounting assignments in an accurate and timely manner. Coding and entering AP invoices. Preparing General Journal entries. Copying and/or scanning documents. Preparing and distributing interoffice and external mail. Preparing weekly check runs. Answering phones and greeting visitors. Backing up other team members; cross-training on responsibilities. Other duties as assigned or required by Management. Qualifications: Ability and willingness to function in a team environment. Good communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to the smallest detail and accuracy. Education and Experience: Associate in Accounting degree is preferred, but equivalent experience, or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
