This position offers a hybrid schedule (in-office & remote/work from home) or an onsite schedule and flexible hours. Candidates will need to reside near Summerville, SC to ensure work site flexibility.

Position Description:
This position will lead the development and implementation of ATI’s Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation and data strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role identifies and executes high-impact AI and automation opportunities across the organization to increase efficiency, lower costs, and foster innovation. This position will drive adoption, manage risk, take a security first approach and ensure measurable outcomes from AI and data initiatives.
Essential Functions
Lead the end-to-end design and development of a data warehouse with external vendor support, including data modeling, ETL pipelines, and integrations from multiple data sources (APIs, databases, etc.)
Develop innovative ideas and propose a forward-looking AI technology, data analytics and data strategy
Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to understand business challenges & identify opportunities for AI/ML-driven solutions
Identify AI capabilities embedded within third-party technologies currently used that can be leveraged for business value
Own and maintain a comprehensive catalog of solution sets for various AI use cases, ensuring data sets are clearly documented and effectively utilized by the team to drive innovation consistently and efficiently
Lead a small team including direct reports in conjunction with broader collaboration across the organization to define requirements, design, test, tune, and deploy solutions that turns data into actionable insights and/or automation solutions
Partner with outside consultants to leverage their expertise, data tools and capabilities
Communicate and educate leadership on advanced emerging technology concepts
Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and our board on the progress and impact of AI and data initiatives and emerging technology solutions

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, IT or Statistics preferred, Computer Science, or any related field and three to five years of related professional experience
Previous experience as a Data Warehouse Architect or similar role, with experience designing and building data warehouses from the ground up.
Expertise in ETL processes, data integration, API integration, and cloud-based data platforms
Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
Proficiency in data visualization
Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tool.
Demonstrated experience in AI leadership, strategy, or execution
Proven track record of success with artificial intelligence AI initiatives, including machine learning and GenAI from use case initiation to implementation in a corporate setting
Expertise in AI tools and platforms; ability to filter and seek out best fit vendors and tools for AI applications.
Preferred previous experience with government and/or DoD entities
Adept at managing change and fostering innovation in a complex organizational landscape.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights
Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional setting
This position will need the ability to access US only data systems – US Citizenship is required.

Anticipated salary is in range commensurate with education and experience:
$145,000 - $160,000
