Position Summary: Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Staff Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, a degree in accounting or finance, and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This position offers an immediate opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

• Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis

• Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed

• Assist with AP and AR when needed

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• CPA or CPA candidate (preferred but not required)
