Aerotek is looking to add 2 more Shop Welders that will be performing primarily MIG Welding in the Fabrication Shop. This is on their night shift that runs 5pm-3:30am Mon-Thurs, and 3pm-11pm on Fri

Responsibilities:

Will be required to stage up and bring into place materials or components required to perform work

Will set up their own materials in jigs or in a position for welding as instructed by the lead man and according the drawing

Will proficiently MIG weld parts together as required using mild steel

When the work order calls for it, they must keep records of the tasks performed, time required and other necessary data

Perform other duties as needed or directed by Shop Lead

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Looking for at least 2-5 years of MIG Welding experience and/or combined with completing of a Welding program.

Must be able to physically lift at least 50lbs

Must be proficient at setting up a MIG Welder and run a good weld bead in various positions and at varying thicknesses of material (primarily mild steel)

Must be proficient and experience at following blueprints/drawings and reading measurements accurately

Ability to use rigging equipment and operate a forklift is highly preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $24.00/hr.
