Job Title: CNC Laser Operator

Job Description

The CNC Laser Setup/Operator is responsible for configuring and operating the CO2 Laser/CNC Machine as per the provided instructions, ensuring high standards of quality and precision. This role involves checking and measuring produced parts to confirm their accuracy and meeting the quality specifications.

Hard Skills

• CNC laser, waterjet, plasma, or similar operation experience

• Ability to read a tape measure

• Basic programming and computer skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in STONEY CREEK, Ontario.

Work Environment

The work environment is a mid-sized, family-owned company with both a custom shop and offices. The shop team consists of 15-20 members, while the office team comprises about 15 people. The environment is family-like with strong emphasis on professionalism and craftsmanship. The facility is very clean, brightly lit, and safety glasses are mandatory. Operating hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, with a flexible pay rate starting at $24/hr, potentially higher for well-qualified candidates.
