ASCO Aerospace USA CNC Operator - 2nd and 3rd Shift Positions in Stillwater, Oklahoma
Position is Located in Stillwater, OK
Position Summary: CNC Operator
This is a safety sensitive position.
Purpose of the Job
This position requires set-up and operation of various types of conventional and computer numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers, as well as, performing other responsibilities and cross functional tasks required for the production of aerospace parts.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Set-up and operate multiple CNC machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely manner.
De-burr, polishing and perform in-process verification of parts to drawing specifications
Function within a flexible task operations system
Participate in a cross training and cross functioning team environment
Use of various measuring devices and air tools
Operation of forklift and overhead crane
Cleans and maintains tools and equipment used in the work area and keeps the work area clean.
Contribute in 5S and Lean manufacturing processes, including Kaizen (continuous improvement)
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Achieve daily production goals via efficient operations and excellent team-work
Work in a safe manner following safety guidelines and policies
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements following Asco guidelines
Potential for travel – domestic and/or international

Required Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technology diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience:
Industry experience in CNC machining preferred
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Very good organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to read, understand and interpret drawing tolerances and specifications, preferred
Must enjoy working in a team environment and be willing to accommodate flexible working schedules, including shift work
Must be able to demonstrate safe operation of machinery
Work under minimal supervision while handling multiple job requirements
Be able to regularly handle items weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally handle items weighing up to 50 pounds
Good manual dexterity with the ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time in a repetitive manufacturing environment
Participate in a cross training and cross functioning team environment
Pass visual and physical exams if required
Must be eligible/authorized to work in the United States, currently and in the future.
