Bluestone Physician Services Operations Data Entry Associate (Must be local to Stillwater, MN) in Stillwater, Minnesota

Our unique, robust model of care goes beyond primary care services — our multidisciplinary care teams collaborate with patients, their families and other healthcare providers to deliver care that is preventative, proactive and tailored to their unique needs. Our care teams travel to patients who reside in Assisted Living, Memory Care and Group Home communities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and Florida.

In addition to primary care, Bluestone has a highly developed care coordination model for more than 14,000 seniors and individuals living with disabilities in Minnesota. Bluestone Care Coordination partners with Minnesota health plans to support their members who receive medical assistance through Minnesota’s Special Needs BasicCare (SNBC) & Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO) programs. Care Coordinators are registered nurses or licensed social workers who work directly with members to assess their physical, mental and social needs and facilitate services and communication across their care team to support their best interests and close gaps in care.

Responsibilities:

 As a Operations Data Entry Associate, in this crucial role you will provide mostly remote administrative support to a team of Registered Nurses and Licensed Social Workers including:

  • Data entry into the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) 

  • Submitting authorizations to health plans

  • Timely mailing of letters and care plans to members or guardians

  • Documenting in an electronic medical record

  • Ensuring compliance with all health plan requirements

    Schedule: Full time position, day shift hours, no evenings, weekends or holidays. Hours are 8am to 5pm Monday thru Thursday & 8am to 3pm on Fridays.

Location: Training is done in the Stillwater, MN office. After training is complete, the position will move remote.

Pay Range: $18.50 - $20/hr

Qualifications:

Education/Certification/Experience

  • Associate’s degree or higher in a related field preferred but not required

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge of health insurance and understanding of patient care

  • Intermediate-level computer proficiency with email, fax, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Experience using Google Suite preferred.

  • Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, providers, and patients

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently to meet department goals

  • Ability to adapt to change

  • Creative problem solving skills

  • Detail oriented and thorough
