Job Title: Machine Setup Operator

Job Description

Begin your career as a Machine Operator to learn the machines and operations. Transition into a setup technician role with training. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring two large blow mold machines, managing product changeovers, and performing basic tasks such as starting the machine, catching bottles, packing, sorting, and palletizing. The role involves manual setups of gears and systems, light troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Pay: $19.58

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor two large blow mold machines.

• Manage frequent product changeovers.

• Start machines, monitor operations, catch bottles, pack, sort, and palletize products.

• Set up machines based on work orders, including manual adjustments of gears and systems.

• Perform light troubleshooting and maintenance on machines.

Essential Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Experience with hand and power tools.

• Comfortable working around equipment in a louder work environment.

• Ability to be on feet for entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing operations.

• Experience with machine setup and operation.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, older manufacturing floor with 13 machines (11 blow mold and 2 stretch mold). The environment is somewhat loud, with earplugs provided. Work alongside 10-15 employees per shift, with one setup technician and one maintenance technician covering all three shifts. The team also includes two team leads, one supervisor per shift, and one general manager overseeing operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stillwater, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.58 - $19.58/hr.
