JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 21027 Position Title: Assistant Teaching Professor of Nursing TTC Title and Code: Teaching Assistant Professor (TL055) FTE: 100% Principal Work Location: UW-Stevens Point Main Campus Supervisor: Dr. Julia Fischer, Assistant Dean, School of Health Sciences and Wellness Position Summary This is a full-time academic year teaching academic staff position in nursing. The position is primarily responsible for teaching academic courses for nursing students enrolled in the UWSP RN to BSN Completion program and the University of Wisconsin Collaborative BSN@Home online program. Excellence in teaching, professional development, and service are required for retention and promotion. The successful candidate will also participate in activities related to maintaining Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation, work collaboratively with BSN@Home, engage in assessment and pursue curricular improvements, advise nursing students and prepare academic plans, engage in Nursing Program and School of Health Sciences and Wellness and university activities, participate in student recruitment efforts, and maintain RN licensure and appropriate membership in professional organizations.
