Tart Lumber Company, Inc.,
a full-service lumber and building material company complete with a contractors hardware store, design showroom, and a custom mill shop seeks a full-time Customer Service/Inside Sales Associate in Sterling, Virginia. If you are experienced in sales and motivated to learn new products and systems, we want to hear from you! A background in construction and building materials is not required, but is a big plus for this position.

- $45,000 - $50,000 starting wage based on experience.

- This is a full-time position working onsite Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm and one half-day every third Saturday from 10am-2pm.

- Assist contractors and clients with the purchase of building materials and hardware.
- Genuinely care about customers and be willing to go out of your way to make their experience a positive one.
- Place special orders for specialty lumber, millwork, doors, and windows.
- Stay on-top of industry trends to further develop and increase your product and industry knowledge.
- Train alongside and provide support to current staff; be coached for excellence in your position.
- Work with our dispatch team to make sure that your clients orders are quickly delivered.
- Flexibility to work with other team members in a variety of tasks as needed.

Building material sales experience preferred. In lieu of experience, we will train someone that is highly motivated and eager to learn.
You are service orientated, customer focused, and enjoy building relationships.
Knowledge or experience with construction and/or remodeling is beneficial.
Ability to read and take measurements using a tape measure required.
