Job Description

The Department of English and Languages at Tarleton State University seeks to expand its pool of applicants for potential adjunct faculty positions for its growing face to face on-campus offerings in Stephenville. We are looking for masters and doctorally-qualified candidates to teach undergraduate courses in Spanish this coming academic year. Interested candidates must have Ph.D. or MA in hand in Spanish and prior teaching experience. Native or near native fluency in these languages and strong familiarity with technology in the classroom are desirable.

Salary: Commensurate with Qualifications and Course Level

Required Education/Experience: Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Spanish or a closely related area and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Spanish.

Preferred Education/Experience: Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is desired. Native or near native fluency in these languages and strong familiarity with technology in the classroom are desirable.
