Lift Up Of Routt County Volunteer Coordinator in Steamboat Springs, Colorado
POSITION: Volunteer Coordinator
DUTIES: * Obtain new volunteers via walk-in, call-in, email, referral from website, network/referral by partner organizations * Facilitate the incoming volunteer process in a timely manner (application, interview, orientation, tour, onboarding, training, etc.) * Utilize volunteer database for entry of hours, reporting, etc. * Prepare volunteer recruitment notices as needed, which may include flyers, emails, presentations, PSAs, articles, announcements, etc. * Act as a community liaison, seeking volunteer recruitment opportunities and connecting with other local organizations, businesses and community members * Recruit new volunteers and attend recruiting events within Routt County * Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS: * Must be at least 21 years of age * High school diploma or equivalent * Must have a valid Driver's License * Must complete and pass a background check * 1 year of experience working with people, experience in office environment with business communications skills, experience as a volunteer * Knowledge of office procedures and methods, office systems, data entry and record keeping * Knowledge of business communication, including word processing, spreadsheets, Excel, Google * Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills for working with staff, volunteers, clients, customers and the public * Ability to establish priorities and work with little supervision
WAGE: $23.00/ hour
