Partnership Director:

We are seeking a dynamic Partnerships Director for our new eCommerce SaaS platform. You will own and lead our highest-priority strategic partnerships, including managing complex programs, establishing partnership governance, and developing new initiatives to achieve shared goals and revenue objectives. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the platform, enhancing its offerings, and driving revenue growth through collaborative initiatives. The wage range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000 OTE, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job. This position is eligible to participate in a sales incentive compensation plan. This position is also Remote anywhere in the US.

You will:

  • Partnership management: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring mutual success

  • Partnership strategy: Develop and implement strategies to maximize partnership value,and negotiate favorable commercial and business terms on new agreements and renewals.

  • Performance management: Monitor partnership performance, track key metrics, and identify areas for improvement or expansion

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with our internal teams, including product, engineering, marketing and legal, to align partnership activities with broader business objectives

  • Leadership & team development: Build and lead a high-performing partnerships team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities

  • Risk management and compliance: Proactively identify and flag potential risks in strategic partnerships and client relationships

  • Adaptability: Respond with agility to market changes and adjust strategies to maximize outcomes

You are:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of work experience in strategic partnerships, account management, or business development in e-commerce platforms or fulfillment /software/SaaS industry

  • Skills/Knowledge:

  • Experienced in driving successful partnership outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement (revenue sharing, embedding product experiences, joint pursuits and lead generation)

  • Thrives in solving complex problems. Draws on creative thinking to develop win-win partnerships that delivers value to end users and generates demand in the market. .

  • Proven track record in hiring, leading, and retaining high-performing partner management teams; comfortable working with C-level

  • Extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including account management, product management, program management, and business development

  • Technical orientation and a keen understanding of SaaS and APIs

  • Strong relationship-building skills and are apt to see mutually beneficial opportunities with partners to best represent our users, products, and programs

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong ownership mindset
