Job Description:

Information Technology Security Engineer III positions offered by Jabil Inc. (St. Petersburg, FL). Consult with architects and other groups to ensure that solutions entering Jabil meet security requirements and also ensure that security solutions satisfy architecture requirements. Responsible for technology or program areas as assigned. Interface with engineers, architects, and other groups to ensure that security is evaluated and embraced in overall architecture. Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management. Determine the security landscape and the threats and vulnerabilities to Jabil. Responsible for engineering and securing Jabil's Identity and Access Management solutions globally.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, MIS or a related field and 10 years of experience in the job offered or 10 years of experience managing, troubleshooting, and supporting corporate IT Infrastructure, including installing, configuring, and deploying client-server systems and domain security policies. In lieu of a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 10 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 8 years of experience as stated or 12 years of work experience as stated. Also requires 5 years of experience: working in Active Directory; performing Identify and Access Management; performing Information Security and Solution Engineering; troubleshooting and supporting networking protocols (TCP/IP) and the OSI model; troubleshooting and supporting network routing and network switching issues and determining root cause at each layer, including network and protocol analyzers; installing, troubleshooting, and managing enterprise security solutions from deployment to sunsetting; and performing threat modeling and risk assessments within the organization to reduce overall risk. Requires 2 years of experience troubleshooting and supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) communications protocols including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID. Employee reports to office in St. Petersburg, FL, but may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
