Marketing & Communication Administrative Coordinator Marketing & Communication Description Gustavus Adolphus College seeks a talented Marketing & Communication Administrative Coordinator to join our team full time. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability and eagerness to dive into all things across our marketing and communications team, having a hand in showcasing and championing our dynamic and authentic brand. This position is key to furthering the College's communication and marketing objectives, including student enrollment, engaging Alumni and donors, and amplifying the energy across campus. Employment Status: Full-time (1.0 FTE), Non-Exempt (Hourly), and Benefits-Eligible Pay Range: $19.50-26.50 JOB SUMMARY: This position is a key part of the Marketing & Communications team, demonstrating an eagerness to support and have hand in many different exciting and meaningful projects. In this role, you will showcase your diverse talents, and no two days will be the same. Working closely with our Chief Marketing Officer, you will provide support and help make sure the functions of our department continue to run seamlessly. Some of your work will be administrative and focus on schedules and calendar management, and it will also play a major role in the cross-functioning of our marketing and communications teams. You will be at the center of helping our department excel, offering support to our Chief Marketing Officer from scheduling and office management to presentation prep. Our team is growing, and our mission is to help the entire Gustavus Adolphus community shine through clear, concise and unified brand and messaging. Your role will help make that happen on a daily basis. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Contribute to a growing, high-performing team while promoting a strong culture of collaboration, excellence and accountability. Working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, assisting in day-to-day scheduling, meeting prep, etc. Operate Marketing & Communications calendar, keeping it up to date. Assist in project managing and overseeing workflow across Marketing & Communications teams. Create email drafts for sending to departmental and partner mailing lists. Build recaps that highlight MarComm impact. Create PPTs for MarComm presentations. Monitor MarComm team email inbox and phone line. Assist in office management, including on-site administration needs at the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer. Budget management support. Build graphics using Canva for use on various platforms. Maintain databases for Gustavus metrics as needed, analyzing impact and providing assessments for how they can positively impact shared MarComm work. Assist in filing photos and content for easy retrieval. Media relations support, including coordinating media outreach and being on-site for media opportunities as needed. Work with Public Relations Manager to collect public relations metrics. Create and develop periodic updates sent to identified audience segments to help highlight current work being done by the MarCom team to support Gustavus. Help with execution of marketing partnerships and ad buys, including delivering assets and monitoring flight times. Assist in nurturing and maintaining relationships with external marketing partners. Oversee a growing collection of print, digital and web resource assets both internally and externally. Help us coordinate resource content, making it easy and efficient to find for staff. Curate content, write, proof, and oversee drafts/final versions of special projects as needed. Other duties as assigned.
