Minnesota Housing is hiring! We’re a mission-focused financial institution looking for a Systems and Process Support Specialist who will support the work assigned to the Single Family Division and the Business Operations Team so activities and assigned projects are completed and meet established deadlines and business systems and technologies work as expected. This position is the first line of support for internal business partners to ensure escalations are handled promptly with accurate resolution for internal customers as well as to minimize disruption for external customers. This position will also support system testing activities, manage the information on the Single Family internet and intranet pages; create and deliver system training; manage system Users; create and manage documents in the system(s); and support Single Family staff with other technology related activities (e.g. creating reports from the loan reporting tool, creating fillable forms, creating Cvent pages and reports, etc.). This role will also be responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining procedure documentation for a variety of processes in the team.
Essential Job Duties
Provide first line of support to internal and external business partners for inquiries related to systems used by the Single Family team so that programs and processes are supported timely and accurately.
Support Client Management/Web Administration functionality in the loan origination system and create and deliver web administration training.
Manage loan document processes so that document versions are controlled, documents available in the system are updated as directed by the programs/legal/compliance teams and are attached to the programs and generate/print correctly and external third parties are apprised of changes in timely manner so that loans delivered into the Agencies programs are accurate and create legal contracts as applicable.
Support Minnesota Housing internal and external web pages including posting program updates, training info, daily rate updates, documents/information, and any Single Family related items.
Participate in testing version upgrades, enhancements, and break fixes so that systems are accurate, consistent, and reliable.This testing may be for changes made by the system vendor, internal Business Systems and Process Support (BSPS), or Business and Technology Support (BTS).
Create, maintain and update BSPS procedure documentation so they are accessible, accurate and available for the BSPS team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of professional experience with housing/mortgage lending which includes knowledge of mortgage lending operations and practices. This is required to understand the overall consumer mortgage lending process from application through closing to effectively troubleshoot and support business partners with a variety of escalated program, process, and system related issues.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Housing, or Real Estate may substitute for one (1) year of professional experience – or – an Associate’s degree in the listed fields may substitute for 6 months of experience.
Demonstrated excellent customer service skills providing support for internal and external partners. This includes Help Desk Support, handling a variety of requests, trouble shooting and resolving escalated issues for customers.
Demonstrated communication skills, including ability to comprehend and communicate complex information in plain language.
Strong technical, analytic, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to research and resolve issues.
Excellent writing and documentation skills.
Cultural competency as demonstrated by skills for communication and interaction across cultures and awareness of one's own world view and that different world views exist.
Preferred Qualifications
Five (5) years of related housing/mortgage lending experience which includes knowledge of mortgage lending operations and practices.
Experience with system testing (mortgage origination systems, FileMaker, ACES, Homeownership Capacity, Grants Management, etc.)
Dedication to ensure cultural responsiveness. Preferred candidates will have a variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
Physical Requirements
