Description

Our great east metro client is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist.

This position manages the operational flow of goods by planning, procuring, and maintaining optimal levels of inventory.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee supply chain • Enhance existing systems/processes • Maintain the integrity of their CRM • Evaluate, select, order, and purchase components • Establish relationships with suppliers • Purchase optimization • Understanding of purchase price variances

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent experience • 3 years of manufacturing experience, with 1 year in Purchasing, Planning, and Inventory Control • Intermediate to Expert level in Microsoft Office/365 • Experience with automation technology • Strong organizational and communication skills

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of supply chain

• Demonstrated experience with data entry tasks

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential

• Experience with Oracle or similar software is highly desirable

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
