Job Summary * We are hiring for multiple positions at our St. Paul location. * Staff in this position work with Unemployment Insurance (UI) applicants to address individual reemployment needs as part of the Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program. Staff work with applicants throughout the state and refer them to local CareerForce locations and statewide services. They meet with UI applicants selected for reemployment sessions, discuss eligibility for Unemployment Insurance benefits, and recommend reemployment services. Sessions are conducted over the phone and in person. This position will require six (6) months of in-person training, after which it will transition to a telework schedule. Duties include: Scheduling applicants for Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment program activities and maintaining data related to these business processes. Conducting one-on-one or group presentations and assessment interviews to familiarize applicants with work search resources, labor market information, and career information based on an assessment of the individual's needs. Completing an individualized work search plan for each individual and ensuring necessary follow-up for additional assistance and completion of work search activities. Providing assistance to applicants in the CareerForce locations who wish to access the UI self-service system or need to contact a UI representative for assistance with a question. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications T receive credit for your education and experience, your resume should clearly describe how you meet each minimum and/or preferred qualification listed, including dates of employment. One (1) year of customer service experience over the phone or in person providing information, recommendations, or answering complex questions OR Three (3) years of administrative or support work experience. Applicants that meet the above minimum qualification will be further evaluated on the following: Strong communication skills to work with diverse clientele. Experience using software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite to manage, track, and report expenses, financial transactions, and invoices. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word Excel, Teams, PPT, etc.) and web-based applications sufficient to use basic computer applications and to guide job seekers to online services. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting career guidance, vocational counseling, job placement or similar functions such as human resources, social services, business management, marketing, adult education, or employee training.
