Six Side Supply is a start-up and is looking for high energy, effective employees that want to put their stamp on the company. Innovation and experimentation will be a large part of the role. The Six Side Supply Project Manager will work closely with construction projects to provide all material needs. The Six Side Supply Project Manager will also work with other departments within McGough Construction to help build process and consensus on strategy. PROJECT MANAGER Qualifications: Required: Associate's degree in construction management or similar 2 years of experience with project management within the construction industry Preferred: Bachelor's degree preferred in construction mgt., or business MEP Equipment Experience Wynne Systems knowledge is an advantage Experience managing projects involving miscellaneous metals, structural steel, or specialty fabrication Understanding of fabrication and assembly processes Scheduling experience with the ability to maintain schedules and hit deadlines Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects within tight time constraints Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software Understanding of welding and metal fabrication processes Strong collaboration and communication skills Thorough and detail-oriented Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints Self-starter and motivated with minimal supervision Ability to creatively problem solve Ability to experiment with new ideas, fail, learn, and keep experimenting. Have the capability to handle complex projects and working environment. Seek to listen in order to understand and can convey information clearly. Office and Travel: Local and National travel to be expected Responsibilities and Tasks: Preconstruction and Business Development Assist pursuit team in evaluating project requirements and potential opportunities Assist in RFQ and RFP responses Perform quantity take-offs and assist in material and equipment estimating Assist in developing project schedules and procurement planning Project Procurement Collaborate with project and preconstruction teams regarding strategy and execute the bid and award process. Ability to do quantity take offs Seek quotations capturing the pricing and availability of materials from a variety of suppliers and manage and report on the accumulative cost of all new purchases. Review plans, specifications and contracts to ensure the correct materials are ordered and/or purchased. Deal effectively with challenges regarding suppliers and the flow of materials. Understand and communicate delivery times. Ensure that projects remain profitable for Six Side by purchasing cost-effective materials. Prepare and maintain cost reports in order to maximize efficiency within the business. Provide prices for all assigned materials included in project plans and drawings. Project Management Assess the reliability of sub-contractors and suppliers. Keep detailed records and maintaining well-organized work and project schedules. Oversee project schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines Manage RFIs, submittals, and shop drawing coordination Maintain thorough knowledge of project contracts and subcontractor scopes Support and follow standard of work Coordinate and lead project meetings with stakeholders Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on all projects Track and approve subcontractor change orders and invoices Oversee procurement and logistics for materials and equipment Other Duties as assigned Participate as an active member of the Six Side Supply Team. Contribute to shared goals and collaborate with colleagues on achievement of priorities Be a strong problem solver who can identify, prioritize, and implement alternatives for issue resolution and demonstrates adaptability by collaborating with others to achieve excellence. Develop positive relationships with Contractors, Suppliers, Jobsite and Cross-Functional Team Members. In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is 95,000 to 120,000, excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience. Hiring near the top end of this range would be atypical, as we aim to allow room for future salary growth. Additionally, McGough offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
