The Professional Practice Operations Analyst is responsible for promoting and facilitating the development, maintenance and standardization of compliant company policies, procedures, and the comprehensive review of communications in collaboration with key compliance stakeholders and functional subject matter experts across the organization.

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, providing various levels of flexibility while also ensuring that associates have opportunities to connect in-person. Unless in a designated virtual-eligible role and specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.

Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a posted Elevance Health location.

How you will make an impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates day to day operations of professional practices department processes to ensure that policy documentation is maintained.

  • Handles complex assignments and can provide guidance and oversight to team members.

  • Manages complex projects in professional practices operations in support of major organizational initiatives including audits, reviews, pharmacy investigations and required submissions to regulatory or oversight bodies.

  • Maintains knowledge of pharmacy operations and tracking tools and databases, and produces regular, customized and ad-hoc reports to senior executives.

  • Researches stakeholder issues and questions related to pharmacy practice and operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 4 years related experience, including experience in proofreading/editing; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:

  • Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

  • Pharmacy regulatory experience preferred.
