Actalent Medical Assistant in St. Louis, Missouri
Medical Assistant that works in their pediatric neurology department and must be comfortable working with pediatric patients. They have a total of 50 providers, 20 Residents and 2 fellows. They see around 60-90 patients per day with a staff of 4-5 MA's responsible for rooming them or checking them in for registration. They will rotate monthly between front office and back office role. The current team has been working in the department for years so looking for someone who is easy going and can gel with different personalities.
They will be preparing and maintains exam rooms, prepares charts, obtains reports and records; directs patient flow and ensures the overall smooth running of the clinical office.
Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Patient Care Duties Interacts directly with patients in clinic setting and completes tasks, which may include obtaining vital signs, conducting EKGs, completing a phlebotomy and verifying medications. Prepares for office hours by doing tasks such as obtaining charts, scheduling tests and preparing exam rooms.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
