SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide clinical supervision, oversight, and related administration and coordination of clinical program in the outpatient department. The supervisory position oversees Access crisis intervention (ACI), outreach- Behavioral Health Liaison (CBHL), Emergency Room Enhancement (ERE), Youth Emergency Room Enhancement (YERE), ACI and DM3700 outpatient programs. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides general and clinical supervision of mental health services in assigned catchment area/programs staff and is responsible for optimal programming of the outpatient clinical services. Develop a systematic approach to making sure assigned programs are effectively meeting client needs. Supervises staff in assigned outpatient programs, as well as responsible for providing clinical to assigned clinical programs. Ensures full functionality of supervised programs, including meeting standard for clinical excellence. Reviewing diagnostic assessments, and treatment ensuring clients are receiving services per regulatory requirements. Applied knowledge and understanding of program, policies and procedures, and referral resources to assist others in resolving issues within scope of authority. Ensure the ACI program is effectively providing crises intervention as needed including follow up. Assist in compliance related activities to ensure assigned programs are compliant with regulatory requirements. Ensure ACI program responds to critical incidents immediately, as well as providing clinical support and follow-up. Also, ensures timely and accurate reporting of incidents in accordance with agency policy. Develop and implement clinical performance metrics for assigned programs, including following up to evaluate whether programs are meeting stated metrics. Maintains a commitment to evidenced based practice. Responsible for staff recruitment, interviewing, and training as directed Ensure clients receive the best clinical services and in a timely manner. Serves as a resource to other clinicians. Any other roles as assigned. Skills and knowledge required: Position requires expertise in clinical assessment, crisis intervention and knowledge of community resources. Ability to develop, organize, plan, and document clinical services. Ability to supervise clinical personnel. Excellent skills in active listening, and communication. Good Interpersonal skills to effectively work with a diverse treatment team. Effective oral and written communication skills and organization skills are essential, as well as the ability to: • work under pressure and meet deadlines; • adapt to workload demands and set priorities; • present a positive attitude and professional appearance • build rapport with clients and develop positive working relationships. Qualifications for this Position: Ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Behavioral Health sciences, with experience in the crisis intervention, case management, assessment and treatment of community mental health. CERTIFICATION OR LICENSE REQUIRED: Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor.
