What you`ll do

As an Associate Development Architect / (Senior) Developer within the CLM Application Management Team you take over accountability for excellent execution of SAPs Cloud strategy. You will work with the latest technology to develop microservices. You will be handling the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our (internal) customers, to design, architecture, implementation, bug fixing and troubleshooting.

At the CLM Application Management Team, our mission is to provide the worlds leading cloud-based solution to operate the SAP cloud, with a set of cloud native microservices using the latest technology. To strengthen our team further and accommodate SAPs growth in the cloud, we are looking for an Associate Development Architect/Senior Developer to join our Team.

We do Flexible work with a mix of onsite (3 days a week) and remote work.

In your role as Associate Development Architect / (Senior) Developer, you will work closely with international colleagues together on development projects with the following activities:

  • Design and develop appealing and sustainable solutions for cloud operations using test-driven methodology.

  • Optimize and simplify existing processes and code. Perform agile prototyping to evaluate which solution fits best for cloud operations. Develop Fiori UIs and APIs in a model-driven way.

  • Master the full stack from UI over backend to database.

What you bring

  • We highly prioritize strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, valuing friendliness, and collaboration to foster a positive and supportive work environment.

  • Advanced programming skills and knowledge in an object-oriented programming language

  • Good knowledge of design patterns

  • SQL knowledge is a must

  • Knowledge of ABAP and RAP is a plus

  • Knowledge of Fiori/Fiori Elements is a plus

  • HTML5 and/or JavaScript experience is a plus

  • Experience in test-driven development as well as model-driven development is a plus

  • Good Analytical skills and excellent customer focus

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal/written)

  • Experience in agile development/SCRUM is a plus
