Facility: BayCare Health System, Outreach Lab MLK Dx Center-AMB
Location: St Josephs Med Arts Building
Status: Part Time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 6:30-5:00 (varies)
Weekend Work: Every Other
On Call: No
Responsibilities - Lab Medical Asst II:
Responsible for collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing.
Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens, referring specimens to outside laboratories, interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests, performance of phlebotomy procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Credentials:
Essential - Driver's License
Required - 6 months - Phlebotomy
Or, 6 months - Laboratory Related
Or, 6 months - Related Field
Education:
Required - High School or Equivalent
Or, Bachelors in related field in lieu of experience
