About the Role

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our Company. Our marketing team are looking for a talented and experienced Content and Social Media Manager to oversee our content creation. Reporting into our Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for highlighting the Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa across all social media platforms and supporting the team in creating engaging content to be used across all marketing channels.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Passionate about crafting engaging story telling content that highlights hotel’s wide offering tailored to resonate with our target audience across various channels, including website, blog, email newsletters, and more.

  • Engage and work in collaboration with Brand Managers, Graphic Designer, and appointed agencies to create content for specific marketing channels.

  • Develop and manage a bi-annual lifestyle magazine including articles from invited guest writers. Working with Brand Managers to ensure key business objectives are considered.

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns and initiatives to drive engagement, increase followers and promote brand awareness and loyalty.

  • Working with Brand Managers in scheduling social media activity and managing this on a day -to- day basis across all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others ensuring a consistent brand voice and aesthetic.

  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of all our social media platforms.

  • Managing paid social media campaigns, in collaboration with Brand Managers and/or agency partners.

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content marketing and social media.

About you

With proven experience in content management this role requires a creative thinker with excellent writing and communication skills as well as a strong understanding of digital marketing and content management best practice.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and lead cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Attention to detail and ability to work quickly in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

BA degree in Marketing and Communications or a related field is preferred but not require.

Salary

This is a permanent opportunity working 40 hours per week, typically from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. however, this role will include an element of flexibility, which will be discussed during interview. Hybrid working will also be required with some on-site work and working from home to be discussed at the interview.
