PeaceHealth Neurointensivist - physician - per diem in Springfield, Oregon

Description

Per diem Neurointensivist physician to join our team (3 physicians and soon to be 4 APC team) and Comprehensive Stroke center at RiverBend Neuro ICU, flexible schedule providing 24 hour coverage at the largest hospital between Portland and Sacramento.

We serve a large rural catchment area including the southwest, coastal Oregon as well as the surrounding Eugene/Springfield communities and regularly get referrals from critical access hospitals located in these areas. PeaceHealth is also a Level II trauma center with a focus on individualized patient care and safety.

  • We support a large catchment area in Oregon (5 counties)

  • PeaceHealth RiverBend continues our 10thyear of Gold plus recognition.

  • Dedicated 12 bed Neurocritical care unit.

  • 5 on 5 off 12-hour Neurointensivist shift and call for the remainder of the 24 hour shift.

Springfield is located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, also known as, Oregon wine country. Two rivers run through the community, the Willamette River, and McKenzie River. Bike, walk or run the Middle Fork Path along the Willamette River, or spend the day fishing on the McKenzie River.   • Hourly wage: $197.11

Job Summary:

Demonstrates compassion, respect and caring while working within the scope of practice of Physician to provide safe and efficient care to patients and assistance to their families and visitors. Works collaboratively with all other healthcare team members toward the best outcomes for the patient and the organization. Provides professional services to the hospital and its patients.
