Join our Team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Therapeutic Support Specialist in the Community Wrap around program at Behavioral Health Network! The Therapeutic Support Specialist provides high quality community-based services to children, adolescents, transitional age youth, and their families. The Therapeutic Support Specialist assists youth and families in promoting and maintaining linkages along with care coordination and collaborations between all providers. This service includes teaching the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family to address the youth\'s emotional and mental health needs. Your Experience Knowledge and great skills as a Therapeutic Training Support Specialist Will Support the Community Wrap around program with the following: Providing brief, in-home intensive services (home, clinic, community settings) to youth and families at least 2 times a week and as clinically indicated. Providing care coordination and referrals to community-based agencies, services, and organizations as appropriate. Participating in the collaborative development process of youth and family-centered treatment planning. coaching in support of decision-making in both crisis and non-crisis situations as well as providing skills training for youth and families. Working with the entire family or a subset of the family to implement focused, structural, strategic, behavioral techniques to enhance problem solving, limit-setting, risk management and safety planning, communication, skill building, to help strengthen the family and improve ineffective patterns of interaction. Providing linkages to community programs that might aid in addressing goals of treatment. What are we looking for In a Therapeutic Support Specialist? Associate\'s Degree in a human service related field required. Bachelor\'s Degree in a human service related field preferred. Minimum of one year of experience in the human services field Must have broad knowledge of mental illness diagnoses, behavioral modifications techniques/coping mechanisms. Experience working with children and families required. Must have familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems. Demonstrates willingness and ability to treat challenging and diverse client populations. Demonstrates working knowledge of community resources and how to help clients access them. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Who are we?
