Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. This role involves assembly, operation, production, and warehouse tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Blending feed and grain mixtures.

• Packaging finished products.

• Handling materials from one area to another.

• Palletizing the finished product.

• Wrapping finished pallets to store and maintain freshness.

Essential Skills

• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.

• Diploma or GED.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Flexibility to work any shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a significant plus.

• Ability to maintain facial hair to effectively wear a respirator.

Work Environment

This facility is located in Springfield, KY, and operates more like a warehouse than a production environment. Employees work in individual work cells rather than production lines. The building is not temperature-controlled, but industrial fans are in place to keep you cool during the summer. The shifts are 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with training on days for up to two weeks before moving to nights. The schedule follows a 2-2-3 pattern.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
