Job Details:

Work Schedule:

1st Shift - Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. or until finished. Weekend work on occasions. Based pay \$19.15/hr.

Job Summary:

Operate the milling process at a feed mill to combine feed ingredients per a formula to provide a finish product for deliver to farms.

Job Responsibilities:

Ability to accurately record data

2. Ability to operate computerize pelleting and batching systems to batch, pellet, and route finished feed based on run schedules

3. Ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools

4. Ability to maintain operational levels of micro ingredients requiring manual filling of bagged ingredients.

5. Ability to measure silos to take physical inventory

6. Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.

7. Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling

8. Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures

9. Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species

10. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas

11. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required

12. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols

13. Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance

14. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.

15. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.

Education: High school degree or equivalent

Experience: 1 year of feed mill experience preferred

Special Skills:

1. Basic Math Skills

2. Communication Skills

3. Critical Thinking

4. Basic computer skill

5. Ability to certify and maintain PIT Certification

6. Ability to achieve and maintain respirator certification where applicable (ability to be clean shaven)

7. Ability to certify and maintain a Boiler Certification

Job Requirements:

Six months of continuous previous work experience in the past 12 months preferred. Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered. Only applicants from the following counties in AR will be considered: Washington, Benton and Madison, Adair County in OK, or within a 50-mile radius of the mill.
