Description Echocardiograph Technologist Pediatrics - Echocardiology Department at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA Schedule Details: Supplemental or On Call, Day Shift The job of a Core Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer is a highly specialized position which involves all aspects of echo imaging of patients with known or suspected congenital or acquired heart disease. This primary pediatric position will include imaging a broad range of patient ages and sizes using all available ultrasound imaging modalities. Patient exam types will include the range of fetal, neonatal, childhood, adolescent, and adult patients. Provision of services will involve inpatient and outpatient examinations and include travel to local and remote satellite locations. Inpatient evaluations will include all available modalities including: fetal, transthoracic, transesophageal, intracardiac, and intraoperative modalities. Outpatient evaluations will include fetal, transthoracic, and transesophageal studies. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Required qualifications: Graduate from a formal approved and accredited Cardiac Sonographer program 12 months of training/evaluation will be required for fetal cardiology studies concurrently or successively at the discretion of the Medical Director of the Pediatric Echo Lab National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International -or- National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Within 2 years of hire: Active registration and certification in Adult Echo, Pediatric Echo and Fetal Echo (preferably all 3) Why Join Providence?
