Providence St. Joseph Health Clinical Student Intern - Surgical Technologist Residency in Spokane, Washington

Description Surgical Technician Residency Student at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane, WA The Surgical Technologist Residency Student is a student who has not yet completed an accredited Surgical Technology program (CAAHEP or ABHES) but is able to perform tasks in the surgical setting under the delegation of authority of a licensed health care practitioner and a staff Surgical Technologist preceptor. Surgical Technologist Resident Students will function as a clinical student during their program clinical experience. Shift : 2 days per week (Semester 1) / 3 days per week (Semester 2), Optional availability to add additional shifts up to 35 hours per week. Day Shifts vary between 6:30 am - 4 pm Mon-Fri. Required Qualifications: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire. 1 year - Currently enrolled in a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited surgical technology program and has completed program-specific lab skill checkoffs.
