About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Executive Sous Chef position to join our Kitchen Department in Jumeirah Mallorca.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with administrative and regulatory standards.

  • Manage food provision across all F&B outlets, taking necessary action to align with current legislation and quality expectations.

  • Ensure consistent high-quality food production, maintaining proper storage and adhering to food safety guidelines.

  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team, optimizing staff rotations, fostering training, and upholding brand standards.

  • Control costs while maintaining standards, improving profitability through efficient resource management and operational excellence.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Culinary qualifications or relevant professional training

  • Advanced Food and Hygiene certification

  • Previous experience in a 5-star hotel environment

  • Experience in a high-volume kitchen leadership role, preferably as Sous Chef or similar

Skills:

  • Friendly, approachable, and professional

  • Strong multitasking abilities and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail

  • Excellent team leadership and communication skills
