DENSO International, Inc. Data Scientist II (Multiple Openings) in Southfield, Michigan
Develops and maintains statistical models and machine learning models capable of extracting valuable business and/or technical insights from large data sets. Proactively participates in developing scalable Business Intelligence (BI) and predictive analytics solutions using a variety of techniques, ranging from data aggregation to data mining. Assists with conducting needs assessment and requirements gathering to design and assist in deploying data analytics solutions. Performs data manipulation and analytics, and translates insights into actionable recommendations to management and customers. Prepares presentations and reports of statistical concepts and research results related to efficiency initiatives to be shared with a non-statistical audience and senior stakeholders. Facilitates training and education of associates related to new systems and procedures. Creates standards for process improvement projects using Data Analytics and Statistical Analysis Theory. Applies statistical expertise to advance current and future regional initiatives. Maintains current knowledge of industry trends in the field of Big Data Analytics by attending related seminars, conferences and training sessions.
