Uses the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care. Collects data relevant to patients condition and reports critical values to physician in a timely manner. Assesses appropriate lab and diagnostic data Documents findings of physical assessment and is able to identify abnormal findings. Develops plan of care based on patient need. Advocates on behalf of the patient and their family. Performs interventions according to patient need and hospital policy. Evaluates patient outcomes in relation to goals. Adheres to all safety guidelines and exercises the utmost care when interacting with patients. Demonstrates a professional demeanor in interactions with patient, family, peers, and staff, and maintains open communication with nursing management. Other duties as deemed appropriate by management.
