Robert Half is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Construction Engineer/Project Manager to join our team for a long-term contract with the intention to convert to a full-time role. This Project Manager/Infrastructure Engineer position is 100% onsite in South San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure design and implementation, with specific expertise in construction and RCDD standards. The Project Manager/Infrastructure Engineer role will be having interviews next week.

Responsibilities:

• Design, engineer, and implement all aspects of physical backbone and horizontal infrastructure (copper and fiber)

• Design, engineer, and commission IT Special Systems Room (SSR)

• Allocate and schedule project resources for IT Passive and Active System Buildout

• Review and comment on all phases of Construction Drawings related to IT Infrastructure and Passive Systems

• Develop Bill of Materials for passive infrastructure and related hardware

• Procure passive infrastructure and related hardware

• Track procurement of passive infrastructure and related hardware

• Coordinate schedule for passive infrastructure and related hardware installation

• Manage and oversee all phases of construction of IT Special Systems Rooms (SSR’s) which will house Airport Common Use Infrastructure and Airport Managed Active Systems

• Design and install horizontal copper and fiber cable that follow standards.

Requirements

Technical Expertise:

• Deep understanding of company standards and the ability to learn and enforce them.

• Proficient in reviewing construction drawings and making necessary changes.

• Knowledgeable in procurement and material purchasing.

• Skilled in Visio and Microsoft Project.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management/design of IT infrastructure, special system rooms, and passive systems.

• RCDD or other infrastructure certifications.

• Previous experience in voice/data installation.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Microsoft Project, and Visio.

• Strong team player with the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively.
