JOB OVERVIEW

As an SAP Material Movement Coordinator, you will coordinate product move requests within our facilities and create orders to process interplant shipments. Follow up will include communication with material handling, warehouse, and logistics teams to execute the moves and track performance. There is a high degree of inter-departmental communications required with particular attention to detail.

  • Oversee the Production Schedule to prepare the required materials as scheduled, highlight the issues with upcoming runs, and provide solutions to potential issues.

  • Schedule outgoing and incoming trucks through material management at all warehouses

  • Maintain special requirements for certain stock, such as chilled goods, allergens or fragile products etc.

  • Ensure that productivity targets are met, and storage and retrieval systems are maintained.

  • Tracking of material availability, movement, and the needs of each area and deadlines.

  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-the-minute records.

  • EWM Master Data Reconciliation

  • Manage supply chain from inbound to outbound flow of raw material.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • EWM/SAP subject matter expert

  • Analyze Drive KPI’s

  • Coordinates the picking of raw materials and packaging materials for all shifts using FEFO guidelines.

  • Creation of STO from STR to ensure proper movement of materials from building to building.

  • Report food safety and quality issues to Plant management and SQFP.

  • Follow PIM Brands GMP rules.

  • Manage the planning of resources and schedule for optimal supply chain conditions.

  • EWM/Master Data Oversight of all warehouse locations including Heller, Pierce, and Cottontail.

  • Ensures that all data is accurate in EWM/SAP

  • Responsible for oversight of production scheduling and interfacing with corporate personnel to ensure scheduling demands can be met.

  • Reviews and ensures daily tasks were completed in SAP accurately.

  • Participates in management and production meetings.

  • Reports shortages, damages, and other discrepancies to the appropriate Purchasing Department

  • Manages EWM specifications in the warehouse and evaluates proper or improved methods of stock control and storage.

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed 12-hour shifts as necessary.

  • Frequently meets with Department Leads to know where things stand in all directions. This will enable the other leaders to be alerted to potential problems.

  • Ensure that each Work Centers have the material needed to perform their tasks safely and efficiently.

  • Provide regular status reports to the group.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, and crouching. Specific vision abilities

    required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

    Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, and controls. Lifting and moving of objects weighing at least 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations will be evaluated and considered to enable an individual to perform the essential job functions.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The job will generally be performed in an office nut at times you will need to tour the manufacturing plant and Warehouses. When on the Operations Floor it is representative of a large, busy manufacturing operation. Noisy, active, objects on the floor, constant movement, and traffic flow of motorized equipment. Hair net, beard net, assigned work uniform, protective eye wear and gloves are among the GMP required apparel that must be worn, if indicated, on the plant floor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

  • SAP/EWM Experience in End User Role Highly Recommended

  • Novice to Expert User in SAP/EWM

  • Bachelor's degree in management or related field and/or experience in transport, logistics and distribution

  • Exceptional attention to detail and good command of the English language (read, write, speak) with respect to understanding and following all verbal and written instructions.

  • Ability to work independently and harmoniously within a team environment.

  • Well organized, proactive, and positive approach in the workplace

  • Knowledge of clerical and record keeping procedures associated with the receipt, storage, issuance of various products and stock inventory protocols.

  • Knowledge of business software programs, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and EXCEL. Experience with the WMS system a must.

  • 3-5 years of warehouse management experience recommended.
