SHI Business Sales Executive - Pure Storage in Somerset, New Jersey
Job Summary
The Business Sales Executive (BSE), Pure Storage will be an expert on Pure Storage Solutions and marketing for the company sales force, ensuring customers receive the best solution to meet their needs. The BSE will work extensively with sales to educate, assist in closing business activity and act as a point of escalation.
This position is required to report to the SHI Somerset, NJ office location.

Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
Join and host Pure Storage team meetings as needed to represent the BSE team and provide updates.
Collaborate with sales teams to drive the sales process of the solution by coordinating customer reviews of aging inventory and looking for refresh opportunities to utilize Pure Storage’s programs, promotions, and pricing and maximize the amount of margin generated.
Coach/ train the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities to achieve Pure Storage Revenue and GM target attainment.
Provide monthly reporting, analysis of business results, and joint pipeline to business leaders within the territory.
Establish and help develop relationships between SHI and Pure Storage within the sales vertical.
Ensure AE activities are tightly aligned with Pure Storage Sales goals within the assigned territory.
Proactively create and execute sales growth plans.
Expected to attend customer location and cold call accounts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required
Minimum 5+ years of direct IT sales or channel business development role
Minimum 5+ years of experience selling storage product lines, Pure Storage preferred
Minimum 5+ years of experience working with partners and the IT Channel
Required Skills
Ability to create and manage external partners and executive-level relationships
Ability to build and execute cross-functional plans to achieve defined objectives
Ability to analyze and interpret business results and develop an action plan
Ability to build strong relationships with a sales organization
Creative and strategic thinking with excellent decision-making skills
Ability to manage a regional business with minimal input from Management
Experience with Pure Storage Global Segment(s)
Experience with Pure Storage portals, tools, programs, and processes
Unique Requirements
- 25% travel to partner conferences/events and customer sites as needed
Additional Information
This position’s estimated annual pay range is $100,000 - $160,000, including a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include but are not limited to medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
