Description & Qualifications

Description

  1. PMO Leadership:

-Develop and implement PMO policies, procedures, and standards.

-Lead the PMO team to ensure effective project delivery.

-Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO.

  1. Project Governance:

-Monitor project performance and compliance with established standards and methodologies.

-Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.

-Ensuring adherence to the Project Change Control Process.

  1. Resource Management:

-Work with Professional Services Senior Management to ensure resources effectively across projects to optimize productivity and efficiency.

-Identify and address resource gaps and training needs within the PMO team.

  1. Stakeholder Management:

-Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to define project priorities and objectives.

-Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.

-Facilitate stakeholder engagement and buy-in throughout the project lifecycle.

  1. Project Planning and Execution:

-Oversee the development of phasing plans and ensuring that availability to resource new projects.

-Ensure projects are executed according to established plans and methodologies.

-Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery.

  1. Performance Measurement:

-Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to measure project performance and PMO effectiveness.

-Analyze project data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.

-Prepare and present regular reports on project and department performance to senior management.

  1. Training and Development:

-Provide training and development opportunities for the PMO team to enhance their skills and capabilities.

-Promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the PMO and across the organization.

-Stay current with industry trends and advancements in project management methodologies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 1 years within a PMO.

• Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Fluent in English.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Smartsheets, JIRA, Confluence).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Must be motivated, professional, work on own initiative, with the capacity to be a versatile team player - flexible, proactive and pragmatic
