Landscape Laborer - (4) Fulltime, Temporary, Seasonal (H-2B) Jobs available 05/15/2025-12/15/2025.
Employer: Beckers Property Maintenance, LLC, 927 Krumkill Rd Slingerlands, NY 12159. Employer to provide transportation to worksite locations in Albany, Schenectady, and Saratoga Counties in New York from this location.
Duties: Responsible for landscaping and maintaining grounds and property using hand and power tools and equipment. This includes mowing, weed eating, edging, raking, trimming, planting, pruning, aerating, fertilizing, and watering. Performs spring and fall lawn and flower bed clean ups. Grading, digging, raking, seeding, hauling and spreading mulch and topsoil using wheelbarrow, shovels, and rakes. Install sod, flowers, trees, bushes, fencing and mortarless segmental concrete masonry units. Clean and maintain tools and equipment. Use an array of hand tools and gas-powered tools, including mowers, string trimmers, and air blowers.
No experience or education required. On-the-job training provided. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work outside in all weather conditions. Post-hire drug testing may be conducted randomly at employers expense. Post-hire background check may be conducted at employer's expense.
Work Hours: Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 6:45am-4:45pm; Saturday 8am-12pm; Hours and schedule may fluctuate due to weather conditions or business needs. Overtime hours may vary. Bonuses/raises may be paid at employer discretion based on performance, skill, tenure. Voluntary housing arrangements may be provided, upon availability, along with the corresponding deduction up to $84/week (with utilities).
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Wednesday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.
Employers will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
