Spherion Staffing Steel Fabricator Jobs in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
[Spherion Staffing is looking for experienced Fabricators in the Sioux Falls area. The Fabricator position creates the structural steel products by operating machine shop equipment and welding. [This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards to produce high-quality finished products[.
[Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm OR 7am-5:30pm, Friday OT as needed (currently 1/2 day) [Pay $20-24/hour DOE and shift
Responsibilities: -Complete the ordered products per project specifications in an efficient and safe manner -Lay out, position and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications, using knowledge of welding techniques and engineering requirements -Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the fabrication supervisor -Accurately report time tracking for project costs -Communicate progress status to fabrication supervisor for scheduling -Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations -Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance from fabrication supervisor
