Midco Social Media Live Game Coordinator in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

JOB PURPOSE:

The Social Media Live Game Coordinator is responsible for clipping and editing videos and images from Midco Sports' live broadcast to post to Midco Sports' social media channels during the game. The Social Media Live Game Coordinator is responsible for telling the story of the game by creating highlights of real-time game experiences from behind a lens.

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Clipping in-game footage from live game content in photo and video format and post for real-time distribution to any of the following mediums: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
  • Post and maximize content across all Midco Sports social media channels during live game coverage.
  • Use Midco Sports goals and strategies to execute in-game content that align with the brand, voice and tone.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
  • Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's privacy.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Strong understanding of sports and how to best show the experience at a game from behind the lens for display on social media channels.
  • Know the ins and outs of social media platforms and what content works best on each.
  • Social Media background and experience preferred.
  • Experience in or ability to learn: Adobe Creative Suite, Premier Pro and Photoshop and SnapStream, a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL and MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift equipment with or without the support of others.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
  • In-person visits to sports venues and other locations as needed. Specific abilities include accessing a venue or other job location by stairs or elevator, operating doors or other entrances, navigating hallways and buildings, etc., and adapting successfully to a constantly changing
  • Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
