Job Purpose and Impact
We seek a Full Stack Software Engineer who will build, integrate and implement front-to-back end software for our Cargill Metals trading business. In this role, you will conduct software application development, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support, that include cloud and mobile applications, data analytics and visualization, dashboards that will complement our greenfield CTRM implementation.
Key Accountabilities
Performs advanced and complex programming, coding and documentation of systems and applications software.
Conduct, and guides others, in technical software development, testing and debug systems and software applications, as needed.
Compile and prioritize enhancements and defect resolutions to applications, implementing changes.
Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed technical specifications to write applications and programs.
Key contributor into the strategy and technical planning of system/application technology in accordance with internal and external software compliance standards
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of full stack development experience
Experienced in Cloud and Data application development using .NET, React.JS, Docker, SQL, Power BI. Knowledge with Kong, AWS a plus
Other minimum qualifications may apply
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experienced in building software in Trading domain, preferably in Physicals Commodities
Experienced in DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Git, Captain CI, JIRA, Azure Pipeline
