Primary Function:
An essential objective of Core Diagnostics’ end-to-end solution approach is to enhance the clinical performance of the laboratory.
Immunoassays and specific digital health solution enablers are important components of the Abbott portfolio that contribute to it.
The primary focus of this role is to develop and execute marketing strategies and programs to create demand with the components mentioned above to gain significant share.
Major Responsibilities:
Drive initiatives that will facilitate faster penetration and higher usage of specific immunoassays including launches
Increase footprint of digital health enablers that enhance clinical performance including clinical decision support systems
Build reference sites and develop KOLs and advocates
Support development of proof points that show the clinical value outside the lab
Develop/manage all relevant marketing/ad-promo materials targeting both in-lab and outside-the-lab-stakeholders
Monitor competition and develop appropriate responses
Drive other marketing programs as needed for differentiating Abbott solutions
Any other responsibilities as assigned by manager
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences, engineering or related technical discipline. MBA is preferred
Minimum 10 years of overall experience, with ideally 5 years of healthcare marketing experience, preferably in IVD diagnostics industry
Prior experience in diagnostics/lab environment preferred
Strong team player
Clinical savviness
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Able to travel for up to 30% of the time
Strategic thinking skills and customer driven
