As a Production Planning Coordinator you will be responsible for micro planning in manufacturing workshops with consideration of Master Planning of Production from Supply Chain Management to ensure manufacturing goals are met efficiently and on time as well as coordination with SCM + Engineering + Order Management + Maintenance + Test Lab. to ensure the timely availability of materials and resources.

What you’ll do:

• Preparation of Rough Cut Capacity Plan

• Schedule and oversee the daily micro production activities with consideration of Master Planning from SCM to ensure manufacturing goals are met efficiently and on time,

• Coordinate with SCM + Engineering + Order Management + Maintenance + Test Lab. to ensure the timely availability of materials and resources.

• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay,

• Coordinating production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability,

• Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met,

• Promptly informing the relevant departments of SCM + Engineering + Order Management + Maintenance + Test Lab. changes to current production schedules.

• Schedule shift according to production needs,

• Observing and reviewing processes to identify inefficiencies with bottlenecks and areas where Kaizen with Lean and 5S could be performed.

• Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality,

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production operations,

• Prepare production reports and keep management informed about production status.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from engineering or relevant departments

  • Min 3-4 years of experience in planning departments in a manufacturing environment

Skills:

  • Strong language capability of English.

  • Ability to work within an international, culturally diverse and matrix-based organization.

  • Working knowledge in all MS Office and ERP systems.

  • Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
