The Role -

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking aHuman Resources Administratorto work out of its state-of-the-art facility inSidney, NY.

This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.

The key responsibilities of theHuman Resources Administratorinclude, but are not limited to:

  • Administration and maintenance of personnel files and records for hourly employees, pension records for hourly retirees, and records related to internal and external union job candidates

  • Accurate and timely processing of employment and pension information

  • Administration of pension program for eligible employees

  • Onboarding new employees, preparing new employee files

  • Completing I-9 forms, verifying I-9 documentation, and maintaining I-9 files

  • Assisting in or preparing of correspondence as requested

  • Processing mail

  • Responding to employee requests and/or questions

  • Other duties as assigned

Salary: $42,000 - $55,000

Location -

  • Sidney, NY

  • 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY

  • 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY

The Person -

The key skills and qualities of aHuman Resources Administratorat Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • Associate degree preferred

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing, union environment preferred

  • Previous experience in an office or customer service environment with administrative and clerical duties required

  • Professionalism and confidentiality required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task

  • Proficiency with computer usage and Microsoft Office

  • Prolonged periods of sedentary work
