We have an opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to help manage day-to-day distribution functions including job site observations, applying for utility mark outs and permitting, planning and scheduling of work and more. Our ideal candidate will be motivated, customer-driven and passionate about providing a vital resource to our communities. Primary Role Plans, schedules, and manage daily field operations in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and all applicable governmental laws and regulations.Key Accountabilities * Plan, schedule, and manage all scheduled and un-scheduled T&D field activities. * Ensure programmed work activities are scheduled and performed in accordance with customer, regulatory, and financial requirements. * Support T&D field supervisors in ensuring crew assignments are supported with inventory, permits, traffic control and other dependencies necessary to ensure successful completion of assignments. * Supervise the implementation of standards, targets, policies, and plans to ensure the continuing and increasing operational efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. * Ensure that operational integrity (quality, environment, reliability, health, safety, security, etc.) is maintained. * Implement effective reporting processes. Knowledge/Skills * High level understanding of Transmission & Distribution workflow process. * Knowledge of company and regulatory procedures related to Health and Safety, environmental, and customer satisfaction requirements. * Knowledge of company policies and procedures and management theories, practices, and trends. * Expert knowledge in the use of MapCall, Excel, MyPurchasing, SAP, and word processing systems. Experience/Education * 3-5 year experience within Transmission & Distribution or Field Services operational areas with proven past experience of meeting performance targets. * High school diploma or 2 year degree in operational discipline, management, or related technical discipline or equivalent. * 2 year degree or higher preferred. * Valid state drivers license. * NJ DEP Distribution certification preferred.
